From watching migratory paths of flocks flying the #pacificflyway , to families of local California Quail raising their chicks and building nests in my front yard. I can tell you from one bird lover to another, it’s paradise here.

Ma’am. Zillow has never walked your property. It doesn’t know your driveway is a quarter mile of unpaved switchbacks. It doesn’t know half your square footage is unpermitted. It has no idea of micro-market nuances and that your “view” is actually your neighbor’s septi…

These are OUR spaces - Henry Cowell, Fall Creek, Seascape, West Cliff - paid for by all of us, open to all of us.
It’s wild how we all agree that nature should be accessible to everyone, but somehow forget that principle when it comes to our neighbors.

No city services = less infrastructure
CalFire requirements you MUST uphold
Property maintenance could feel like a part-time job

Unfortunately, it's not a family-friendly place. Higher than average amount of drug problems, not a wholesome environment, and many frankly anti-family/anti-children people. People should know before they commit.

The zestimate, the mortgage calculator, the “offer this and it will work” algorithm. It’s nothing more than big bold colors for MARKETING to get you addicted to scrolling on zilllow- just like social media.
The Zestimate is an algorithm that looked at some tax records and took its best guess. And for mountain homes, weird lots, and anything remotely unique? That guess is unhinged.
I’ve seen it off by $200K+. On properties I actually sold. With my actual feet on the actual ground.
So when you pull up Zillow on your phone during our listing appointment… just know I am this meme on the inside. 🐔
Love you though. That’s why I’m here — to get you the REAL numbers based on actual human eyes on the ground data from doing this day in and day out 🫶🏼

Ancient redwoods don’t ask where you’re from. The ocean doesn’t check your status. Reminds us that literally egeryone is headed to the same place at the end of the day. That’s the Santa Cruz I know.
