🎨 Eastside – Your artsy friend who hosts dinner parties with mismatched chairs, grows their own vegetables, and has strong opinions about local politics. Rides a bike everywhere and it’s definitely a statement.

🧘‍♀️ Aptos – Suburban mom energy but make it beachy. Drives a Volvo, kids go to good schools, still wears Patagonia to brunch. Actually has their shit together.

🏄‍♂️ Pleasure Point – Surf bro who actually has money. Wears the same Volcom hoodie from 2003 but owns a $2M house. Checks the buoy report before checking their email. Will argue about the best burrito spot.

🍺 Live Oak – The practical one who bought the “fixer” everyone told them not to, actually fixed it, and now has the best backyard parties. Always has good beer in the fridge.

🌴 Seabright – The quiet cool kid who lives by the beach but doesn’t make it their whole personality. Walks their dog at the harbor daily, has a surprisingly nice house you didn’t know about. Low-key wealthy.

🍷 Soquel – That friend who chose space over beach access and doesn’t regret it. Has fruit trees, a real yard, and hosts Thanksgiving. Quietly winning at life while everyone else fights for parking.

🏔️ Scotts Valley – Moved here “for the schools” and the garage space. Secretly misses the beach but won’t admit it. Has a Costco membership they use religiously.

🐓 Santa Cruz Mountains – The off-grid friend who’s either a tech millionaire or lives in a yurt - no in-between. Has chickens. Wants to be a hobbit in the woods. Takes Highway 9 like it’s a personality trait. 

☕ Downtown – That friend who refuses to grow up, is a little freaky and you kind of love them for it. Walks everywhere, knows all the baristas by name, complains about parking but doesn’t own a car.
