So true! Yesterday’s outage was pretty long and I understand it was longer for others (my power came back on at 11:30pm). It was the third in a week. I’m learning about food options, can still use the gas stove as long as I have a lighter ready. And that I need to have entertainment options ready - books, cards, or art projects to work on. Or use that time for the manual house chores I’ve been putting off, like sweeping the front steps, etc. I’m starting to get my power outage protocols in place, like firing up my mini generator and having my rechargeable lantern ready to go. And then using whatever tiny bit of signal I can get to alert PG&E of the situation 🤣
